Johansen to throw out ceremonial first pitch at Reds game Monday

Columbus Blue Jackets center Ryan Johansen will throw out ceremonial first pitch at the Cincinnati Reds game on August 24 vs. the Detroit Tigers.

Johansen is also expected to join the Reds on the field during batting practice prior to the game.

Johansen set career highs in assists and points with 26 goals, 45 assists and 71 points in 2014-15. He was one of two Blue Jackets to play in all 82 games and has played in 194 consecutive games dating back to Feb. 24, 2013. Johansen was also named the 2015 All-Star Game MVP after scoring two goals and recording two assists.
