By Ross Jones, FOXSports.com In the midst of arguably the best game of his young career, Titans quarterback Jake Locker was carted off the LP Field turf in Tennessee with a hip injury after two and a half quarters of dissecting the Jets secondary. Locker headed straight to the hospital minutes after the injury occurred, and reports surfaced late Sunday that he will spend the evening there. Locker, who had thrown three touchdown passes before sustaining the injury, was hit by Jets defensive lineman Muhammad Wilkerson and then Quinton Coples after an incomplete pass. Locker went down immediately and grabbed his right hip after being twisted as he went down. Trainers immediately responded to Locker, who laid on his back. Locker gave a thumbs up to the home crowd, who was chanting his name, as he was carted off. Wilkerson’ wasn’t flagged, although the hit happened after Locker threw the ball. Locker was replaced by Ryan Fitzpatrick, who threw a TD pass of his own in the Titans' 38-13 blowout.
