JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- The Jacksonville Jaguars have their third quarterbacks coach in less than a month.
The Jaguars hired Cincinnati's Mike Sheppard to replace Todd Monken, who returned to college football earlier this week as Oklahoma State's offensive coordinator.
Jacksonville promoted Monken to QBs coach in January, after Mike Shula took the same position with the Carolina Panthers.
Sheppard, who has 17 years of NFL coaching experience, spent the last four seasons coaching receivers for the Bengals. His resume also includes college head-coaching stints (Long Beach State and New Mexico), as well as NFL coordinator jobs with San Diego (1997-98), Buffalo (2001) and New Orleans (2005).
