Is Braxton Miller college football's most clutch QB?
With the game on the line, you'll want Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller in your huddle.
A recent survey of college football sports information directors uncovered that Miller leads all current FBS quarterbacks in game-winning scoring drives with six. Miller comes in ahead of Navy's Keenan Reynolds, who has five, and East Carolina's Shane Carden, who has scored four.
The numbers may be skewed a bit in Miller's favor as he's entering his senior season and top guys like Johnny Manziel and Teddy Bridgewater left school early. However, Miller's penchant for the clutch is undoubtedly impressive and balanced -- he's registered at least one game-winning drive in each of his three seasons as a Buckeye.
His first, against Wisconsin in 2011, was one of the most compelling, as he hooked up with receiver Devin Smith for a 40-yard touchdown with 40 seconds left in the game.
Then, you can't leave out that classic Michigan game last year when Miller showed his mettle in the final minutes.
Miller had minor shoulder surgery in February but should be ready to go in his attempt to lead the Buckeyes to the first College Football Playoff.
