NEW YORK (AP) Iromea won her debut for trainer Christophe Clement, beating Indian Starlight by a half-length Monday in the $67,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares on the turf at Aqueduct.

The 3-year-old filly rallied from fifth to register her second win in seven starts, and the first in the U.S. Joel Rosario was aboard for the mile in 1:38.58 over the firm course.

The Irish-bred started her career in France before shipping to Belmont Park to run seventh in the Sands Point Stakes in September. She remained here and transferred to the new barn which found an easier spot for her next race.

Bettors took notice, making her the 6-5 favorite. She paid $4.70, $3.20 and $2.60.
