Iqbal 55no as Bangladesh make 119-3 by tea vs England

CHITTAGONG, Bangladesh (AP) Opening batsman Tamim Iqbal was 55 not out as Bangladesh made 119-3 against England by tea on the second day of the first test on Friday.
England was out for 293 in the morning.
It was almost a perfect second session for Bangladesh until Mahmudullah edged to slip off legspinner Adil Rashid in the last over before tea.
Mahmudullah made 38, and combined for 90 with Iqbal. They lifted Bangladesh from 29-2.
Iqbal, who brought up his seventh half-century in nine innings against England, survived a video review just two balls before the dismissal of Mahmudlluah, in an over off Moeen Ali.
Ali (2-29) dealt a double blow on the stroke of lunch to keep England in the hunt. But Iqbal and Mahmudullah kept England at bay throughout the session until Rashid broke through.
