'Inside the Rays: Spring Training' premieres April 22 on Sun Sports

TAMPA, Fla. -- On Tuesday, April 22 at 10:30 p.m., Sun Sports, the statewide television home of the Tampa Bay Rays, will debut a new episode of "Inside the Rays" upon conclusion of the Rays vs. Minnesota Twins game. Titled "Spring Training," this episode will bring viewers the behind-the-scenes sights and sounds from the Rays’ Spring Training home in Port Charlotte.

Hosted by Kelly Nash, the show has all the highlights from a memorable Spring Training camp with the Rays. The episode promises to be a must watch for fans looking to see a lighter side of their favorite ball club, as segments include a lesson on how to make the perfect hoagie from Manager Joe Maddon, a visit to a local Boys & Girls Club with pitcher Chris Archer and going fishing with outfielder Desmond Jennings. It’s not all fun and games on "Inside the Rays." Viewers will also get an all-access look at batting practice with Hitting Coach Derek Shelton and Pitching Coach Jim Hickey.
