'Inside the Panthers: Off-Season Special' premieres June 18 on FOX Sports Florida

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- On Thursday, June 18, at 10:30 p.m., FOX Sports Florida, the regional television home of the Panthers, will premiere a brand new episode of "Inside the Panthers" highlighting the team's efforts and mindset since the conclusion of the regular season. A prelude to the NHL Entry Draft, which will be hosted by the Panthers at the BB&T Center in late June, "Inside the Panthers: Off-Season Special" looks back at the 2014-15 season where a 25 point jump in the standings helped the Panthers finish the most improved team in the NHL.

"Inside the Panthers" traveled to Buffalo, N.Y. for the annual NHL scouting combine, where the top 120 draft eligible prospects participated in meetings and physical tests. Our camera was allowed in several meetings with the Panthers scouting staff, giving fans exclusive access as the scouts talked with potential draftees. In addition, FOX Sports Florida analyst Bill Lindsay joined Panthers captain Willie Mitchell for a day of fishing in the Atlantic Ocean. Mitchell is an avid angler who owns a 36-foot boat.

Featured on "Inside The Panthers "Off-Season Special" are interviews with Head Coach Gerard Gallant, goalie Roberto Luongo, defenseman Aaron Ekblad and forward Jaromir Jagr, plus General Manager Dale Tallon, Scouting Director Scott Luce and team Vice-Chairman Doug Cifu. Various prospects who will be attending the draft in South Florida are also featured on the show.
