'Inside the Panthers: Forging a Winner' premieres Sept. 18 on FOX Sports Florida
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- On Sunday, Sept. 18 at 5 p.m., FOX Sports Florida, the regional television home of the Florida Panthers, will debut an all-new episode of "Inside the Panthers" upon conclusion of the Miami Marlins vs. Philadelphia Phillies game.
"Inside the Panthers: Forging a Winner" is a must watch for Panthers fans as FOX Sports Florida's cameras traveled across the country to document the different workout techniques utilized by players to prepare them for the upcoming season. The fun starts in Windsor, Canada, where defenseman Aaron Ekblad showed us how pulling a truck drives his workout. In Pittsburgh, Pa., forward Vincent Trocheck revealed his regimen in preparing for the World Cup of Hockey. A jiu-jitsu class in Boston, Mass. with Shawn Thornton provided an intense and heart pounding setting for what the 39 year-old forward is doing to stay in shape. On a similar note, we stayed in New England with new defenseman Keith Yandle as he stepped in the boxing ring at TMX Boxing Academy. Finally, we head to Finland where World Cup of Hockey and Panthers teammates Aleksander Barkov and Jussi Jokinen are ready to represent their country and the Cats in the international tournament.
The show ends in the Panthers IceDen as we welcome new defenseman Jason Demers to South Florida, along with introducing Panthers fans to some future Cats at the team's development camp and hearing from Panthers front office executives on how they've committed to the future by investing in the core of the team.
