'Inside the Magic: New Direction' premieres Nov. 11 on FOX Sports Florida
ORLANDO, Fla. (Nov. 10, 2016) -- On Friday, Nov. 11 at 10 p.m., FOX Sports Florida, the exclusive television home of the Orlando Magic, will debut a brand new "Inside the Magic" upon conclusion of the Orlando vs. Utah Jazz game.
"Inside the Magic: New Direction" invites viewers to pick up the clip board with an all-access look at Head Coach Frank Vogel and his new Orlando coaching staff. Fans will get to go behind the scenes with Coach Vogel at practice, as well as hear him mic'd up during the team's final preseason game vs. the New Orleans Pelicans and during the regular season opener vs. the Miami Heat.
Vogel, who is entering his 20th season in the NBA, began his NBA career as the Head Video Coordinator with Boston under Rick Pitino. He stayed in that role from 1997-2001, before being named an assistant coach with the Celtics. Vogel was also as an assistant coach in Philadelphia in 2004-05 and in Indiana for over three seasons. During his five-plus seasons as a head coach with Indiana from 2011-16, Vogel guided the Pacers to the NBA Playoffs five times, two Central Division championships and two trips to the Eastern Conference Finals.
"Inside the Magic" host Paul Kennedy interviews Coach Vogel in the One80 Lounge atop the Amway Center overlooking downtown Orlando, as well as General Manager Rob Hennigan, and Assistant Coaches Chad Forcier, Corliss Williamson and David Adelman.
