'Inside the Lightning: New Bolts' premieres Nov. 18 on Sun Sports

TAMPA, Fla. -- On Tuesday, Nov. 18, at 10 p.m., Sun Sports, the regional television home of the Tampa Bay Lightning, will premiere a brand new episode of "Inside the Lightning" upon conclusion of the Lightning vs. New York Islanders game. Titled ''New Bolts,'' this episode will provides viewers with an opportunity to learn a little more about the Lightning's new off season acquisitions.

''Inside the Lightning: New Bolts'' will be televised statewide and introduce fans throughout the state of Florida to five of the Lightning's newest players in forward Brian Boyle, defenseman Anton Stralman, forward Brenden Morrow, defenseman Jason Garrison and goalie Evgeni Nabokov. Thus far, General Manager Steve Yzerman's additions to the roster have provided veteran leadership and a spark on the ice to one of the NHL's most exciting teams.

Brian Boyle signed as a free agent from the Rangers. In the episode, he talks about his father who was diagnosed with cancer in 1999 and the miraculous journey he made to being disease free. Boyle and his wife, model Lauren Bedford, talk about getting married in 2014 and how excited they were to move to Tampa. Anton Stralman also signed as a free agent from the Rangers. Fans will hear him talk about being from a small town in Sweden and how he moved between four different teams in five years until finding success in New York, where he changed his game and became more defensive minded improving and excited to be a part of the Lightning.

Brenden Morrow spent almost 13 seasons with the Dallas Stars where he served as team Captain for half of that time. In the show, he reflects on coming from his small hometown in Canada and playing on an injured ankle his rookie season. Morrow talks about what an honor it is to be selected captain and how this good young team adds life to his game. Jason Garrison came to the Lightning in a draft day trade with Vancouver. The blue liner has a powerful shot that his teammates love and opponents avoid. Finally, Evgeni Nabokov grew up playing hockey in Kazakhstan. He was drafted with the last pick of the ninth round by the San Jose Sharks. After adapting to America and the English language, Nabokov would win the Calder Memorial Trophy as the Rookie of the Year. Having logged almost 40,000 minutes and over 300 wins in his career, Nabokov has brought his experience to help the Lightning's defense.
