'Inside the Heat: Udonis Haslem' premieres Dec. 6 on FOX Sports Sun
MIAMI -- Tune in Tuesday night, Dec. 6 on FOX Sports Sun, the regional television home of the Miami HEAT, as we get set to premiere an all-new episode of "Inside the HEAT" upon conclusion of the HEAT vs. New York Knicks game. "Inside the HEAT: Udonis Haslem" invites HEAT fans to come behind the scenes with Miami's captain and "forever guy" as referred to by HEAT President Pat Riley.
The Jackson Memorial Hospital food court and a Starbucks set the scene for the episode as Udonis shares insight on his latest business ventures, while providing fans with an inside look at how he is preparing for life after basketball. The Starbucks is Udonis' newest business venture and he provides host Jason Jackson with his point of view on being hands on he is with his opportunities and employees, the majority of which come from a low-income settings.
Throughout the episode, viewers will see a common theme as Udonis reflects on his last 14 years of local community efforts and how being born and raised in Miami has made it all the more important and special to him. We then hear all about how in the summer of 2016 he was inducted into the Miami Sports Hall of Champions and why that is such an honor for not only him, but his family as well. Known for his heart and sacrifice, Udonis explains how being a captain this year is a true honor and how his joy and pride comes from the success of others.
