NAGPUR, India (AP) South Africa allrounder JP Duminy has been ruled out of Friday's World Twenty20 match against the West Indies because of a hamstring injury.
Duminy was injured while fielding during South Africa's Group 1 win over Afghanistan in Mumbai last Sunday.
Team manager Mohammed Moosajee says, ''the scans confirmed our clinical suspicion of a hamstring strain.''

Moosajee says team physiotherapist Brandon Jackson is treating Duminy and hoping to get him fit before Sunday's match against Sri Lanka.
Duminy has scored 83 runs in two matches without being dismissed and also took 1-31 in the two-wicket loss to England.
