The Cleveland Indians Wednesday announced the following roster moves relative to the major-league roster.
Selected the contract of RHP Ryan Webb from the AAA Columbus Clippers.
Designated OF Jerry Sands for assignment.

Webb, 29, signed with Cleveland as a free agent on April 13 after electing free agency upon being outrighted on April 13 by the Los Angeles Dodgers, who acquired him from Baltimore four days earlier.
Webb has appeared in 5 games for the Columbus Clippers this season, posting a record of 1-1 with a 1.13 ERA (8.0IP, 4H, 1R/ER, 1BB, 5K, .148AVG) while limiting right-handed hitters to an .056 (1-18) average against.
