Indians bring up Aguilar

The Cleveland Indians Friday announced the following roster moves relative to the major league roster.

Recalled 1B Jesus Aguilar from the AAA Columbus Clippers.

Optioned LHP Kyle Crockett to AAA Columbus.

Aguilar, 25, has spent the entire 2015 season at AAA Columbus where he has batted .255 (92-361) with 15 doubles, 1 triple, 13 home runs and 66 RBI in 93 games. He is currently leading the International League in RBI (66, 2nd in Indians organization) and tied for 9th in home runs (13, 4th-most in organization). Since June 1 he has batted .278 (50-180) with 5 2B, 7HR & 42 RBI over his last 46 games.
