PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad (AP) India has lost its top test ranking despite a 2-0 series victory over West Indies.

India had to win the last game of the four-match series to retain its No. 1 position, but four days without play led to the match being declared a draw Monday.

Rival Pakistan takes the top spot for the first time after its 2-2 test series draw with England.

West Indies was 62-2 in its first innings with only 22 overs bowled in the entire match.

Although there has been little rain since the first day, the damp condition of the outfield was still deemed unplayable on the fifth day by officials.

India was top of the rankings for less than a week, following Australia's 3-0 series defeat to Sri Lanka.
