* Tim Tebow attempted to stop then-Florida Gators teammate Aaron Hernandez from getting into a bar fight in 2007, the Orlando Sentinel reported Tuesday. Citing the Gainesville police report, the Sentinel said Hernandez punched a bouncer in the head and caused a broken ear drum on April 28, 2007. Read More
* The Miami Marlins went 15-10 during June, winning one more game than they did in April and May combined. A big reason for the turnaround was the return of several players from the disabled list. Read More
* The Heat on Tuesday unveiled a whopping 24 players who will be on their summer-league roster. Miami has 12 players with guaranteed contracts for next season and the hope is to re-sign center Chris Andersen to be a 13th. * The Jacksonville Jaguars are scheduled to report to training camp on Thursday, July 25, with the team's first practice session set for the following day.
