* Jeremy Hellickson's struggle on the mound aside, the Tampa Bay Rays headed home from Camden Yards with a feeling of satisfaction after taking two of three from the Baltimore Orioles. Hellickson didn't make it out of the fifth inning, allowing home runs to Chris Davis and Adam Jones in the Rays' 4-2 loss Wednesday night. Read More
* LeBron James made his first visit Wednesday to Marlins Park, sat behind home plate and had left his seat by the sixth inning. If he was rooting for the home team, he didn't miss much. * Miami Dolphins guard Richie Incognito again is in the news for a physical encounter, this time off the field. The Palm Beach Post, citing a police report, said Wednesday that Incognito received a trespassing warning on June 10 -- before training camp -- after an alleged fight with a security guard at Club Liv in Miami Beach. * Josh Freeman respects former quarterback Fran Tarkenton. But Wednesday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback made clear that approval of teammates and coaches is the only thing that matters to him. Freeman responded to Tarkenton's negative comments on WDAE 620 AM Tuesday in which the Hall of Famer said Freeman is "God-awful" and "has proven to me he can't play." Read More
* The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed veteran kicker Rian Lindell and waived linebacker Joe Holland. Lindell spent the past 10 seasons with the Buffalo Bills, where he ranked second in franchise history with 225 field goals made and 980 points scored. Read More
* Justin Nicolino, a left-hander acquired in the big offseason trade with the Toronto Blue Jays, was named Florida State League Pitcher of the Year on Wednesday.
