How they voted: Badgers in AP poll (Week 7)

Published Oct. 8, 2013 11:10 a.m. ET

It is always interesting to see how teams on a bye are treated in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll.
For example, two weeks ago Nebraska gained votes despite being off. The same Nebraska team which got pounded by UCLA and which has been burned all season on defense, including by an FCS team.
Now, not saying Wisconsin deserves to be ranked or even get votes. But without playing a game last week, the Badgers lost 17 votes.
Six voters who had Wisconsin ranked in Week 6 had the Badgers off their ballot in Week 7 (including Josh Kendall, who had UW at No. 19).
On the flip side, of the nine who did put the Badgers on their ballot, six moved Wisconsin up from the previous week!
