How they voted: Badgers in 2014 AP football poll (Week 6)

BY Dave Heller • September 30, 2014

No surprise that Wisconsin moved up two spots in the latest Associated Press top-25 poll as two teams above the Badgers in the rankings lost last week.

While the Badgers did move up those two spots, it wasn't really a big move as they gained only 51 votes.

The biggest move for Wisconsin came from Mike Herndon of the Alabama Media Group, who slotted the Badgers up five spots, from 25 to 20. Also, John Shinn of the Norman Transcript moved UW from 22 to 18. Of course, Shinn had Wisconsin at No. 13 just a couple of weeks ago.

The largest drop came from Doug Lesmerises of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, who moved Wisconsin from 22 to 18.

Also, a quick note on last week. I mentioned I didn't know why some people moved Wisconsin down -- after a win -- as they did. One of those, Harold Gutmann, send me a note via Twitter that he did that because he wanted Wisconsin below LSU, which makes sense (and he has it that way again this week, with LSU at 14 and Wisconsin 15).

OK, here's the ballots from this week. I'm including only a 5-week window, so say goodbye to the preseason rankings (but you can always do a search and find them if you really want).
