High school football coach 'Shakes Off' firing dancing to Taylor Swift
Byron Cordell got fired but that didn't stop him from dancing.
Cordell, the high school football coach at Durant (Okla.) High School went 1-9 this season and was informed he would not be back as the team's coach next season.
So, while Cordell packed up his things, the cameras rolled.
As Cordell and his family recorded a parody to Taylor Swift's song, "Shake It Off,," courtesy of The Oklahoman.
In the video, Cordell his wife, son and three daughters all sing and dance to the song while Cordell packs his boxes in the school's weight room.
Cordell had been the coach at Durant, his alma mater for nine seasons.
"We just weren't successful enough in the last few years," Cordell said to the Durant Democrat. "I'm disappointed, but I understand."
Cordell might be disappointed, but he sure did take the bad news pretty well.
