Corona del Sol lost a game last week to Dobson, but it came without superstar Casey Benson. The Aztecs rebounded with convincing wins over Marcos de Niza and McClintock. Since Cesar Chavez and Desert Mountain both lost, the Aztecs move up to the top spot. Surging Pinnacle is at No. 2 after a blowout of Desert Mountain capped a 10-game winning streak to end the regular season, while Mesa is back in the top 3 after a short drop. Cesar Chavez and Desert Mountain round out the top 5. Chaparral had three easy victories last week to move up one spot, while Gilbert drops from No. 4 to No. 7 after losing to Mountain Pointe. Brophy, Hamilton and Westview were all perfect to stay in their spots.

2. Sunnyslope 23-3

3. Poston Butte 22-4

7. Paradise Valley 21-6

8. Shadow Mountain 22-5

9. Saguaro 18-9

Undefeated weeks keep Sierra Linda and Sunnyslope on top. Poston Butte continues to surge, as an 11-game winning streak has pushed the Broncos to No. 3. Catalina Foothills knocked off Division I No. 1 Cesar Chavez to jump up to No. 4, while Nogales stays at No. 5 despite a loss because it came to Mesa. Greenway and Paradise Valley each move up a spot with good weeks, while Shadow Mountain drops from No. 3 to No. 8 with losses to Sunnyslope and Saguaro last week. The Sabercats stay at No. 9 after going 2-1, while Salpointe rejoins the rankings after a lengthy absence. Flagstaff dropped out after losing two games last week.

1. Gilbert Christian 23-3

2. Window Rock 24-2

3. Thatcher 22-4

4. Chinle 19-4

5. Scottsdale Christian 18-6

Gilbert Christian had a big win over Thatcher to stay No. 1, while Window Rock knocked off Chinle by a point in another big-time showdown. Those four teams stay at the top, and Scottsdale Christian remains at No. 5 by virtue of its six-game winning streak.

3. Scottsdale Prep 19-4

4. St. Gregory Prep 16-5

5. Ray 22-5

Yuma Catholic stays No. 1 with an undefeated week, and Joy Christian moves up to No. 2. Desert Christian lost twice last week to drop from the rankings, and El Capitan fell out as well. Ray has an impressive overall record and has won 11 straight to take over the No. 5 spot in the rankings.
