AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- Miami guard Dwyane Wade is expected to miss Sunday night's game at Detroit.

Wade had 19 points and five rebounds in a win over Minnesota on Saturday night. He had missed the previous two games with knee soreness and an illness.

Wade suffered a scare in the first quarter Saturday when he appeared to bang his right knee as he crashed to the court. He writhed in pain for a few minutes, but was able to get up and keep going.

Coach Erik Spoelstra likes to rest Wade in back-to-backs to reduce the wear and tear on his knees.
