Gronkowski appears to be amused by reporter's references to '69'
Returning to action two weeks after suffering a blow to his knee, New England Patriots star tight end Rob Gronkowski played 42 of 69 snaps on Sunday in a 27-6 victory over the Houston Texans.
And hey, did you know that when Tom Brady plays without Gronk and wideout Julian Edelman, his completion percentage drops to 56 percent, when it's 69 with either Gronk or Edelman on the field?
Those are couple fun stats that ESPN's Josina Anderson ran by Gronk after his four- catch, 87-yard and one-touchdown performance in his return from the knee bruise/sprain. Watch as everyone's favorite future Hall of Fame man child strains to keep a straight face when Anderson utters that particular number:
You can't stop Rob Gronkowski, you can only hope to contain him -- just as he must contain his teenage boy-like sense of humor.
Gronk's eyebrow raise every time Josina says 69 are incredible. Jumping out of his skin he wants to laugh so bad pic.twitter.com/XQRJWREOTj
