Graham hires receivers coach from Wisconsin

DelVaughn Alexander, wide receivers coach at Wisconsin for the past five seasons, has joined Todd Graham's coaching staff at Arizona State.

Alexander has Pac-12 coaching experience as an assistant coach at Oregon State (2003-04). He played USC in ther 1990s and began his coaching career as a graduate assistant for the Trojans in 1995.

Alexander's background also includes two years as an assistant coach at University of San Diego under then-coach Jim Harbaugh and 15 months as a quality control and scouting assistant with the San Diego Chargers.

The Pac-12 announced its 2012 football schedule on Wednesday, featuring every game on national television. Broadcast partners FOX, FX and ESPN will carry 44 games, and the remaining 34 will be aired on the Pac-12 Network. Exact TV schedules will be determined at a later date.

The schedule includes eight Thursday and Friday dates for FOX and ESPN. ASU will play in two Thursday night contests on back-to-back weeks in October (at Colorado on Oct. 11 and at home against Oregon on Oct. 18), and will play a Friday game on Nov. 23, the day after Thanksgiving, in its season finale at Arizona.

The other Thursday night games are Stanford at Washington on Sept. 27 and USC at Utah on Oct. 4. The other Friday games are Washington at California on Nov. 2 and two other rivalry games on Nov. 23: Utah at Colorado and Washington at Washington State.

The Pac-12 Championship Game will be played Friday, Nov. 30, at the home field of the team with the best overall Conference record.
