Governor spat! Packer fan Walker rips Christie's hug, gets burned

BY foxsports • January 7, 2015

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is a diehard Packers fan, but don't expect to see him on TV hugging team president Mark Murphy at Lambeau Field if they beat the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

As Chris Christie continues to be the "mojo" for the Cowboys, Walker couldn't help but take a shot at the New Jersey governor, who's being called out for being at Jerry Jones' side in the owner's box all season.

The Green Bay Packers are the only franchise in the NFL that's owned by the community.

Of course, the pungnacious New Jersey governor wasn't about to take that diss lying down. Christie responded to Walker's jab with a tweet of his own:

For reference, CNN notes that the photo seen in Christie's tweet is "a superimposed image of [Christie] joining a hug between Walker and one of Walker's sons on the night the Wisconsin governor survived a 2012 recall."
