Despite being written in 1984, "Go, Cubs, Go" by Steve Goodman has debuted on the Billboard charts for the first time ever.

The song came it at No. 1 for Pop Digital Song sales and No. 49 overall for Digital Song sales for the week.

The Cubs defeated the Cleveland Indians in seven games to capture their first World Series title in 108 years.
