MIAMI (AP) -- Heat rookie reserve center Mickell Gladness is out for Monday's game against Atlanta with an infected left foot.
The 6-foot-11, 220-pound Gladness made the Heat out of training camp and appeared in two of the season's first five games. He made his first NBA field goal in Sunday's 129-90 win over the Charlotte Bobcats, and has four rebounds, two assists and a steal in a total of 12 minutes off the bench.
The team says Gladness will be listed day to day. After Monday's matchup with the Hawks, the Heat next play on Wednesday at home against Indiana, before departing for a five-game road trip.
