Georges St-Pierre, Jon Jones have the most awkward encounter ever
Well, that was awkward.
Jon Jones and Georges St-Pierre ran into each other at a Super Bowl party over the weekend, but only after they probably both pretended not to see each other.
TMZ caught it on video and it looks like Jones motioned to their photographer not to alert GSP of his presence.
TMZ caught St-Pierre on video leaving Marquee nightclub in New York City. Jones was standing literally right behind him, facing the opposite direction. When the cameraman asked GSP about Jones, they both turned around, making believe they didn't know damn well each other was there.
You could see just before St-Pierre turned out Jones shook his head at the TMZ reporter, pretty much like he didn't want GSP to see him. But didn't both these guys used to train with each other at Jackson's MMA down in Albuquerque? Doesn't seem like they're besties, huh?
Either way, the video is absolutely priceless. Maybe Jones is annoyed with GSP for calling out the UFC because of what he perceives as lax drug-testing policies. Or maybe there's something else personal we don't know about.
The two made a nice little show for the cameras, though. Jones might have Hollywood in his future.
TMZ definitely blew up their spot. They both seemed to be having a nice night pretending the other wasn't there the whole time.
