Geelong to host Australia-Sri Lanka T20 next year

SYDNEY (AP) Kardinia Park in the Victoria state city of Geelong will become the 11th venue in Australia accredited to host host international cricket when Australia plays Sri Lanka in a Twenty20 match next February.

Cricket Australia on Monday confirmed the last elements of Australia's next domestic international season - it will host four touring teams - by confirming details of the three-match Sri Lanka Twenty20 series.

The first match will be at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Feb. 17, the second at Geelong on Feb. 19 and the third at the Adelaide Oval on Feb. 22. Sri Lanka will also play a Prime Minister's XI at Canberra on Feb. 15.

Cricket Australia said the Adelaide Oval will host an international match on Australia Day, Jan. 26, for the next five years.
