Freese to bat cleanup vs. Nationals

JUPITER, Fla. - Matt Holliday and Lance Berkman are both in Sunday's lineup against the Washington Nationals but neither of them are hitting cleanup.

Third baseman David Freese has that honor, batting between the two in the No. 4 spot. Holliday will hit third while Berkman, who had hit cleanup behind Holliday when the two were both in the lineup this spring, drops to fifth.

Carlos Beltran is still out of the lineup as he recovers from the flu but the Cardinals hope he can return Monday. Shane Robinson will bat leadoff and play right field in his absence.

The full Cardinals lineup:

Shane Robinson, RF
Tyler Greene, DH
Matt Holliday, LF
David Freese, 3B
Lance Berkman, 1B
Yadier Molina, C
Jon Jay, CF
Dan Descalso, 2B
Alex Cora, SS
Jake Westbrook, P

Scheduled to pitch behind Westbrook today include Maikel Cleto, Eduardo Sanchez, Mitchell Boggs, Fernando Salas, Adam Ottavino and R.J. Swindle. First pitch is scheduled for 12:05 p.m. CT from Roger Dean Stadium.
