FOX's Sun Sports to premier Miami Heat documentary 'Together We Rise'
(MIAMI, FL) -- Sun Sports, the regional television home of the Miami HEAT, will officially tip-off the start of a new preseason when the Miami HEAT host the Atlanta Hawks tonight at 7:30 p.m. Upon conclusion of the preseason broadcast on the network, fans can tune in for the premiere of the team’s third original documentary presentation titled "Together We Rise."
It was one of the most memorable years in Miami HEAT history, one that broke records and ended with the franchise’s third world championship. Relive the journey of the 2012-2013 regular season that started half way across the world in Beijing and Shanghai, included an unforgettable 27 game win streak and ended with the franchise best record in their 25 year history.
Watch as the band of brother’s battle through the playoffs and fight back with one of the most incredible shots in HEAT history and ultimately claim the 2013 NBA Championship. Narrated by Alonzo Mourning, "Together We Rise" is a full length special that will go in depth during the regular season, playoff series and NBA Finals. Fans will hear from HEAT players and coaches, as well local and national writers, as they take you through the moments that shaped the season and created back-to-back World Champions.
