The Monarchs high powered passing attack was back in business in the teams 58-16 win over longtime rival Servite. Sophomore QB J.T. Daniels was 26-28 for 327 yards and six touchdowns.Ā
2. (2) Corona Centennial (8-1)
In the FOX Sports West Game of the Week, the Huskies roared out of the game scoring on three of their first four plays from scrimmage to defeat Norco 49-17. QB Tanner McKee was 14-16 for 311 yards and three touchdowns.
3. (4) Mission Viejo (9-0) (at No. 16 San Clemente, Friday, 7p, Prep Zone)
The Diablos had a bye over the weekend and will take on San Clemente for the league championship.Ā
4. (3) St. John Bosco (7-2)
The Braves bounced back from their tough loss to Mater Dei with a dominant win over a very solid JSerra team, 47-19. Ā Junior QB Re'Al Mitchell had three touchdowns.
5. (5) Rancho Cucamonga (9-0)
It wasn't always pretty but the Cougars took out Damien 44-24 to stay unbeaten on the season. Two-way standout Jaylon Redd rushed for 223 yards and scored three touchdowns.
6. (6) Serra (6-3)
The Cavs had a bye and will play Alemany this weekend, having already clinched the Mission League.Ā
7. (7) La Mirada (6-2)
The Matadores had a bye and will play at Mayfair on Friday.Ā
8. (8) Calabasas (9-0) (vs. Moorpark,Ā Friday, 7p, Prep Zone)
It was another big night for Coyotes quarterback Tristan Gebbia in the teams 47-14 win over Thousand Oaks. Gebbia was 18-22 for 353 yards and five touchdowns.
9. (10) Murrieta Valley (7-2)
The Nighthawks continue to roll with an impressive 42-14 win over Great Oak. Running back Lika Palmer had a big night and receivers Maurice Bell and Marquis Spiker both had over 100 yards receiving.Ā
10. (16) Oaks Christian (7-2)
In a game we thought would be close, the Lions blew out St. Bonaventure 63-28. Sophomore running back Zach Charbonnet rushed for 273 yards and four touchdowns.Ā
