FOX Sports Southwest's All-Big 12 Team

The coaches' and media's picks are in, but here's what my All-Big 12 team looks like.

OFFENSE

QB: Trevone Boykin, TCU

I was one of the many folks who thought Boykin would finish this season at receiver. I will take my crow with a side of frog legs. Boykin didn't run away with this one, but he's a clear choice above Baylor's Bryce Petty, who also had an outstanding season.

RB: Samaje Perine, Oklahoma

RB: Shock Linwood, Baylor

Perine, on the other hand, literally ran away with this. He and Linwood are the obvious selections as two of just three Big 12 backs to top 1,000 yards this season. They combined for 37 rushing touchdowns, too. Props to Texas Tech's DeAndre Washington for breaking a 15-year streak without a 1,000-yard rusher in Lubbock.

WR: Tyler Lockett, Kansas State

WR: Kevin White, West Virginia

I'm glad I don't pick three receivers for my All-Big 12 team. Lockett and White are in a class of their own atop the Big 12 receiver list, but Sterling Shepard and Corey Coleman both have good cases for the league's No. 3 spot, as well as Texas' John Harris. Picking between those guys is near impossible.

TE: E.J. Bibbs, Iowa State

Bibbs enjoyed the breakout season many predicted for him this year. He caught eight touchdown passes and 45 balls for 382 yards. Jimmay Mundine and Zach Trujillo are both strong candidates for this spot, but Bibbs is the clear No. 1.

OL: Le'Raven Clark, Texas Tech

OL: Spencer Drango, Baylor

C: B.J. Finney, Kansas State

OL: Daryl Williams, Oklahoma

OL: Tyrus Thompson, Oklahoma

Drango and Finney definitely deserved the league's co-Offensive Lineman of the Year honor, but the Sooners' dominant offensive line deserved two spots, too. I hated leaving Kansas State's Cody Whitehair off my team.

DEFENSE

DL: Andrew Billings, Baylor

DL: Emmanuel Ogbah, Oklahoma State

DL: Shawn Oakman, Baylor

DL: Malcom Brown, Texas

I always try to be a purist here and pick two tackles and two ends for my defensive line. K-State's Ryan Mueller and TCU's Chucky Hunter were narrow misses for my first team, but all four of these guys were clear selections.

LB: Ben Heeney, Kansas

LB: Eric Striker, Oklahoma

LB: Paul Dawson, TCU

Dawson won the Defensive Player of the Year honors from the coaches and media and my other two linebackers weren't far from taking the trophy. All three were outstanding this season. Baylor's Bryce Hager earns an honorable mention here.

DB: Chris Hackett, TCU

DB: Randall Evans, Kansas State

DB: Quandre Diggs, Texas

DB: Karl Joseph, West Virginia

Diggs was all over the field and made 62 tackles with five tackles for loss this season and Joseph cemented his status as the Big 12's hardest hitter. Hackett led the league with six interceptions and Evans broke up 13 passes with four picks.

SPECIALISTS

P: Trevor Pardula, Kansas

Punted 83 times this season and led the league in punting average.

KR: Alex Ross, Oklahoma

Nobody was more dangerous than Ross and nobody in the league got kicked away from more. There's a reason he only got to return 22 kicks this year and still took two back for scores. He led the league with 32 yards per return.

PK: Josh Lambert, West Virginia.

TCU's Jaden Oberkrom had a higher make percentage, but Lambert had just one miss shorter than 40 yards this season and was 4/5 from beyond 50 yards. He also won two games at the gun for the Mountaineers.

PR: Tyler Lockett, Kansas State

He averaged eight more yards than anybody else in the league and was the only player with multiple touchdown returns.
