FOX Sports Florida's Prep Zone to live stream Jacksonville Bolles at American Heritage
PLANTATION, Fla. -- FOX Sports Florida announced today it will be featuring the Plantation American Heritage-Jacksonville Bolles game on FOXSportsFlorida.com via Prep Zone, presented by Checkers. Ed Berliner will call the game, alongside color commentator John Kaleo, and Kavita Channe will be reporting from the sidelines.
On Friday, October 11th, at 7:30 p.m., Prep Zone returns to Broward County for a battle of state title contenders as Jacksonville Bolles takes on Plantation American Heritage.
The visiting Class 4A Bulldogs (4-1) have won a record 11 state championships and played for the title each of the past two seasons. Bolles has struggled on the defensive side of the ball this season, allowing 32.6 points per game. But the Bulldogs counter with an explosive offense that rolled up 601 yards of total offense in their last game, a 61-51 win over Ocala Vanguard. Bolles has a powerful offensive line, led by seniors J.T. Alexander and Kian Scheonborn, and a gamebreaker in the backfield in junior running back Dexter Carter Jr.
Meanwhile, the Class 5A Patriots (5-1) have won five straight after opening with a 41-20 loss to national power Miami Central. Senior running back Sony Michel (Georgia commit), one of the country’s best, has rushed for 538 yards and seven touchdowns this season. American Heritage also features a stingy defense that’s surrendered less than 13 points per game. That unit is powered by senior defensive linemen Justin Cibole (FIU) and Edgar Cerenord and senior defensive backs Juwan Dowels (Northern Illinois) and Carter Jacobs (Cincinnati).
