FOX Sports Florida to broadast Panthers preseason game live from West Point
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- FOX Sports Florida, the regional television home of the Florida Panthers, announced the network will televise the Florida Panthers vs. New Jersey Devils preseason game scheduled to take place at the United States Military Academy in West Point, N.Y., on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. The preseason game marks the first time the Panthers will play a game at Tate Rink, the home of Army West Point Hockey, while the trip marks the Panthers fourth visit to the Military Academy, having previously visited West Point for team-building trips in 1995, 2007 and 2014.
Play-by-play announcer Steve "Goldie" Goldstein and color analyst Denis Potvin will provide viewers with expert commentary alongside analyst Randy Moller.
"This unique setting matches the Panthers' ownership's strong ties with West Point -- an extraordinary institution," said FOX Sports Florida SVP / General Manager Steve Tello. "We're honored to be able to bring Panthers fans this television event before the start of the regular season."
