FOX Sports Florida, Sun Sports announce Lightning first-round broadcast schedule
TAMPA, Fla. -- FOX Sports Florida and Sun Sports announced the networks will air all of the first round playoff games between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Montreal Canadiens, beginning with Game 1 on Wednesday, April 16, live on Sun Sports.
Lightning fans and viewers throughout North / Central Florida will want to get to a television early, as all home and road television broadcasts will feature a one-hour pregame show. Each game will also feature an extended, one-hour postgame show. With games scheduled to be replayed late at night and the following day, FOX Sports Florida and Sun Sports will be airing just under 50 hours of Lightning programming on the networks through the first four games.
Play-by-play announcer Rick Peckham and color analyst Bobby "The Chief" Taylor will provide viewers with expert commentary throughout the first round, while hosts Paul Kennedy and Kelly Nash will join analysts Dave Andreychuk and Chris Dingman on the broadcasts.
