FOX Sports Florida set to drop puck on Florida Panthers opening night

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- With the start of the 2016-17 NHL regular season just three days away, FOX Sports Florida, the regional television home of the Florida Panthers, will be providing the perfect countdown to opening night with replays of some of the best games from last season each weeknight leading up to Thursday's home opener.   

Starting Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. and every night through Oct. 12 on FOX Sports Florida, Panthers fans will be able to watch the Panthers 4-3 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs from April 4, 2016 this evening, the Panthers Game 2 win over the New York Islanders in last year's Stanley Cup Playoffs first round series tomorrow night, Tuesday and the Panthers Game 4 win over the Islanders on Wednesday night.

The trio of victories serve as an exciting lead in to get Panthers fans excited for the season opener on Thursday night, Oct. 13 vs. the New Jersey Devils.  FOX Sports Florida's live coverage of Panthers Opening Night will start promptly at 6:30 p.m. with a special, one-hour pregame show from The BB&T Center. A broadcast team of five will provide extensive analysis as Panthers' broadcasters Steve "Goldie" Goldstein, Denis Potvin, Craig Minervini, Jessica Blaylock and Randy Moller will all play a role.
