FOX Sports Carolinas and FOX Sports Southeast to air 81 Carolina Hurricanes games in 16-17
RALEIGH -- FOX Sports Carolinas and FOX Sports Southeast will combine to televise 81 Carolina Hurricanes regular season games during the 2016-17 NHL season, with the first game on FOX Sports Carolinas in Winnipeg against the Jets on Thursday, October 13. Coverage will begin at 7:30 p.m. ET with the Hurricanes LIVE! pregame show.
Additionally, Hurricanes games will be available for the first time on FOX Sports GO (FOXSportsGo.com), a free app that provides live streaming video through select programming distributors all season long, as well as other FOX Sports programming.

Play-by-play announcer John Forslund (@JohnForslund) returns for his 22nd season as the television voice of the Hurricanes, alongside analyst Tripp Tracy, who will be entering his 18th season with the team.
Hurricanes LIVE!, the pregame and postgame show for all 81 game telecasts, will feature analysis from former Hurricanes player Shane Willis, who will return for his third season with the team.

-- The Canes will open their home slate against the New York Rangers on Friday, October 28. Pregame coverage will begin at 7:00 p.m. ET.
-- The first of eight Hurricanes games on FOX Sports Southeast will take place against the Washington Capitals on Saturday, November 12. Pregame coverage will get underway at 6:30 p.m. ET.
-- Carolina will square off against the defending Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins in the Steel City on December 28, with pregame coverage beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET.
-- Eric Staal returns to Raleigh for the first time as a member of the Minnesota Wild on Wednesday, March 16. Pregame coverage will start at 6:30 p.m. ET.
