Former Miami Redhawk scores game-winner in Stanley Cup Final

In the college hockey world, the Miami University Redhawks are one of the best programs out there; Which is why it comes as no surprise to hear that a former Redhawk scored the game-winning goal in last night's Stanley Cup Final.

With this goal, Alec Martinez won his second Stanley Cup as a member of the LA Kings.

According to the university's athletics page, Martinez becomes the first Redhawk to win two of Lord Stanley's trophies.

Since 2004, three Redhawks have hoisted the Cup including, Dan Boyle with the Tampa Bay Lighting in 2004 and Kevyn Adams with the Carolina Hurricanes in 2006.
