Forbes: Peyton Manning can help Jerry Jones profit on Super Bowl Sunday
Could Jerry Jones benefit financially off the Super Bowl even without the Dallas Cowboys playing in the game?
According to Forbes.com, the Cowboys owner and general manager will do just that if the Denver Broncos come out on top.
The business website wrote Saturday that because Jones owns more than 100 Papa John's franchises in Dallas, Austin, and Waco, a good showing by Denver QB Peyton Manning, who also has ownership stake in the pizza franchise, would mean more money in Jones' pocket.
Forbes is projecting that if Manning plays well, Papa Johnâs will benefit.
Just in case you forgot, Jones has participated in a few Papa John's commercials over the last couple years. Here's one to refresh your memory.
So, Jones can come out on top even if his team isn't involved. Probably not what most Cowboys fans want to hear.
