While sometimes it is difficult to tell because the players appear to be having so much fun, spring training is for more than tanning to look good in the smart phone commercials or working on the short irons on the driving range in the Arizona sun after morning workouts.
If you want to see what spring training is all about, visit camp two weeks before the exhibition games begin and be prepared to kick off the covers at dawn
