1. Growing into a contender. The Falcons, now 4-1 and having won four straight, have not looked spectacular the last two weeks against two teams that entered those respective games with one win combined. But both of those teams have above average defenses and in each case had an additional motivational factor: San Francisco was desperate for a first win last week and on Sunday Cleveland was playing at home.
So while the games are tightly played, the Falcons are coming out on top
