Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald has been named to the NFC squad for Sunday's Pro Bowl as an injury replacement for Chicago's Brandon Marshall.

Fitzgerald, initially selected as an alternate, will be making his sixth consecutive Pro Bowl appearance and seventh overall, the most by any offensive player in Cardinals history. Among all Cardinals players, his seven appearances are tied for second in franchise history with defensive back Roger Wehrli -- one behind Hall of Fame safety Larry Wilson's eight appearances.

Fitzgerald will be joined by two Arizona teammates on the NFC roster. Patrick Peterson was voted in at cornerback, and inside linebacker Daryl Washington, an alternate selection, was named as a replacement for San Francisco's NaVorro Bowman.

The Pro Bowl will be played Sunday at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii.
