Fans chant 'one more year' to Johnny Manziel
Will he or won’t he?
That question has surrounded Johnny Manziel lately as he potentially played in his final home game in College Station.
Many believe the Heisman winner will leave for the NFL at the end of the year, especially considering all the attention/scrutiny he received surrounding potential NCAA violations.
But the fans let him know they want just one more year.
During Saturday's against Mississippi State, chants of "One More Year" filled Kyle Field.
Only time will tell if he takes their suggestion.
Manziel led the Aggies to a 51-41 win over the Bulldogs while throwing for 446 yards and tying a career-high with five touchdowns passes.
After the game, Manziel told reporters that he hadn't thought about whether or not that was his final home game, according to the Associated Press.
"Not one bit," he said. "I'm focused on trying to get us to a BCS bowl."
"With the chant and with the energy they brought ... just a great way to end this year," he continued while emphasizing "this year."
Junior Malcome Kennedy may have given a subtle hint when he talked about the situation.
"Everybody would love to see him back here again," he said. "But you have to make some decisions in life and it was fun playing with him."
Either way, it's a nice way for the fans to show their love and appreciation to the quarterback.
