Extra security measures at Stade de France for Six Nations

PARIS (AP) Extra security measures will be implemented at the Stade de France during the Six Nations following the attacks that left 130 people dead around Paris last November.

The French Rugby Federation says ''very strict'' controls, including body and bag checks, will be operated before France's matches against Italy, Ireland, and England.

France is under a state of emergency after Islamic extremist attacks in Paris and at the Stade de France on Nov. 13.

To ensure the controls are as efficient as possible, the FFR wants ticket-holders to arrive early and without big items such as backpacks or motorbike helmets that will be put on hold.

France's first home is on Feb. 6 against Italy.
