ESPN mag cover features nude Taurasi
The cover of ESPN The Magazine's second annual "Body Issue" will feature WNBA star Diana Taurasi in the nude.
The Phoenix Mercury guard is just one of the cover models for this year's edition.
"Doing the shoot was something new and I had fun with it," Taurasi said, according to reports. "For me, doing this was about facing the challenge and celebrating everything all of our bodies have been through and done."
The 28-year-old Taurasi was the 2009 WNBA MVP.
There are six different covers in all, one of which features all the members of the U.S. women's water polo team. New York Knicks star Amar'e Stoudemire, U.S. soccer goalkeeper Tim Howard, PGA Tour golfer Camilo Villegas, and Dutch wheelchair tennis player Esther Vergeer are the other four.
The issue — intended to celebrate the athlete's form — features over 40 athletes posing in the nude.
