Former Cardinals outfielder Jim Edmonds is back in camp with the club.
No, Edmonds is not attempting a comeback. He's here as a guest instructor, similar to that of what Ozzie Smith and Willie McGee did in recent weeks.
Edmonds, who arrived Wednesday, met with the outfielders for about 10 minutes Thursday and discussed a variety of topics. He then continued to chat with outfielder Jon Jay for several minutes during batting practice.
