LONDON (AP) Eddie Jones has revealed he's willing to keep coaching England beyond the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
Jones said at his appointment last November that he was committed only to his four-year contract.
But after the English Rugby Union indicated this week it was open to Jones staying on, the Australian said he would consider it, too.
''If we don't deliver, the only thing they'll be asking me is, `What time does your flight leave?''' Jones said on Friday at a preliminary squad announcement.
''If we do well, then there will be a discussion, and if we do well, the discussion will take place after we do well.''
So far, he's done well. England has won all nine of its matches under Jones, including a Six Nations Grand Slam and unprecedented 3-0 series sweep in Australia.
But results can change quickly, as can an employer's satisfaction, and it could all turn in their next match on Nov. 12 when South Africa visit.
''Look at Jose Mourinho,'' Jones said. ''After three games, everyone thought he was going to change Manchester United. Two games later, they're saying he's made all these mistakes. That's the life we live.
''When you win games, your stocks are pretty high, but if we lose against South Africa, people will be saying, `Why have we employed this Australian?' and there won't be any discussion about 2019.''
