LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Upon further review, Los Angeles Kings defenseman Drew Doughty had a two-goal game in Edmonton on Wednesday night.

That's what the NHL decided Thursday after reviewing video of the Kings' 3-1 win over the Oilers.

Two Los Angeles goals were credited to Kings forward Ryan Smyth, a former Oilers star who's still a crowd favorite in Edmonton. Smyth got credit for tipping two of Doughty's shots past Edmonton goalie Nikolai Khabibulin.

But Smyth said afterward he hadn't touched either shot. The NHL agreed with him, crediting Doughty with his first multigoal game of a difficult season.

Doughty had just four goals in his first 45 games for the Kings after getting 16 goals and 43 assists as a Norris Trophy finalist last season.
